These date to the 1920s and were most likely worn as athletic sweatpants, warm up gear, or long johns. They are made of the most amazing warm cotton knit fabric and could be great for wear or display. Since they were most likely worn under another garment, there is an opening at the crotch. These pants button shut and have a tapered ankle. Such a fabulous piece of athletic wear history, great for wear, costume, study, or display!! MEASUREMENTS : This textile measures approx: 38 inches long 38 inch waist 44 inch hip 27 inch inseam CONDITION : These pants are in as found, not freshly laundered condition. They are in great shape! There are a few tiny stains and marks here and there, but nothing very large or noticeable. Overall, these pants are in fantastic condition for their age and have many years of life left in them!
